We have seen so much progress all over our community of which we are proud: revitalizing the downtown area, becoming leaders in higher education and improving quality of life for our residents, but there is so much untapped potential and more work to do.

Education

We owe it to our kids to provide opportunities and pathways to success. Universal pre-kindergarten and an affordable college education help to level the playing field and should be available regardless of your income level.

Environment

It is imperative that we take preventative measures to take care of our planet and be good global neighbors. We should be utilizing advancements in technology and be smarter about our efficiency.

Elder affairs

We owe our seniors a great debt. By being proactive and establishing programs and resources for our aging population, we can create opportunities for a more collaborative conversation about the direction of our community and provide a positive quality of life.
